weekly dose of awesome

Here are some things I’m loving this week…

Moon’s Creations is a site I found via Paper n Stich, and I am completely infatuated with it. Tiny knitted bunnies, birds, squirrels – there’s even Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks (above) sets! How can you not love these tiny teaspoons of adorable? I’m definitely asking for one for Christmas; now I just need to decide which…

Found via iCiNG, The Unicorn Diaries is a wonderful blog full of beautiful things. Photoshoots, wishlists, musings, and, which is what grabbed my attention and love, screencaps of A Little Princess, which is one of my favourite films of all time. It’s wonderful just to browse through and immerse yourself in the lovely.

WishWishWish is my FAVOURITE blog of the moment — Carrie has such a great sense of personal style, and her blog is full of her amazing photographs, wonderful thoughts and great links. It’s a truly ace daily must-read. In fact, I got the idea for the layout of this post from her — if you’re reading, I hope you don’t mind, and thank you!

I am very much a shoe girl. I love bags, I’m just very finickety about finishing, so I rarely buy them (I only have two that I really use at the moment). Shoes, however, are a different story. Mary Portas, a columnist for the Telegraph recently wrote in Elle that she has a theory that if you’re smaller than a size 8 in shoes, you’re a shoe girl, larger, a bag girl. As a size 3, I’m definitely a shoe girl! I love these huge heels from asos.com — I think a shoe-shopping-spree is in order!

I found Aidan Koch‘s work on My Love For You. It is hugely inspiring – I love her chaotic use of mixed media. It’s colourful and energetic and wonderful for losing yourself in. I definitely reccomend a browse through her site!

All the images I found on the respective links’ sites! :)
